Project/Grant

FundWare Project/Grant is the solution for complete management of activities, projects, grants, cost centers, contracts, or investments. This "parallel" single-sided ledger allows users to track a segment of financial transactions, in more detail, than what the current General Ledger provides. FundWare's suite of modules, including Accounts Payable and Payroll, allow users to simultaneously post to both the Project/Grant ledger, as well as the General Ledger.  Any project can now be managed separately to streamline the General Ledger chart of accounts.  This module is ideal for tracking Profit/Loss information on any activity, and collecting statistical information for outcome-measurement reporting. 

So often, the ability to provide profit and loss information on non-primary activities is ignored, or kept separate in spreadsheets. If you had the ability to track just a segment of your transactions in another fashion, separately, in a “parallel” ledger, it is probable that this information would be of high value.
